I recently found this Revolutionary War "Grapeshot". Which is a cast iron ball about the size of a golf ball, shot in clusters from a cannon.

I will be giving a presentation on my independent research project "Facts and Artifacts". This lecture will take place in November 2024 at the Moorestown Library. The exact date is still pending. Thank you to The Moorestown Historical Society for organizing this event. My power point presentation focuses on the British Army's "Evacuation from Philadelphia" to South Jersey in June 1778 and their overall time spent in Camden/Burlington Counties. Plus, I will cover colonial myths and regional inaccurate American Revolution information.
Finally, I will have my local Revolutionary War artifacts on display. These items are from my time following the British Army's marching routes and locations.
*Please feel free to contact me if you would like to schedule your own presentation.
Probably my oldest find to date... This recently found King George II British Half Penny. I believe it reads 1748. For more information about this coin. Go to the section "Artifact Photos".
In honor of Americas birthday. This week I will be holding off on the British material and focusing on The Continental Army.
These upcoming blogs will consist of handwritten letters that were created in and around the time of The British Army's Evacuation from Philadelphia.
